When you create an account, we collect:

  • Organisation or business details (if provided)
  • Billing information (processed via Stripe)

3.2 Property and Tenancy Data

Users may input:

  • Property addresses
  • Tenant names and contact details
  • Guarantor names
  • Deposit information
  • Compliance certificate dates
  • Uploaded documents (tenancy agreements, certificates, notices)

Lease Ward processes this information solely to provide the services requested by the user. Lease Ward does not independently verify the accuracy of data entered by users.

3.3 Payment Information

All payments are processed securely via Stripe. Lease Ward does not store full card details. Stripe acts as an independent data controller for payment processing.

3.4 Technical Data

We may collect limited technical information such as:

  • IP address
  • Browser type

  • Usage logs
  • Authentication session data

This information is used for security, fraud prevention, and service performance.

  • The user (landlord) is the Data Controller
  • Lease Ward acts as a Data Processor

We process such data only on documented instructions from the user and for the purpose of delivering the service.

Lease Ward uses trusted third-party providers:

  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Supabase — cloud database and authentication infrastructure
  • Vercel — hosting and deployment infrastructure

These providers may process personal data in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable data protection laws. We ensure appropriate contractual safeguards are in place where required.

8. International Data Transfers

Some service providers may process data outside the United Kingdom.

Where international transfers occur, we ensure appropriate safeguards are implemented, including:
